Self-Love Affirmations


Whether we're a little down on ourselves or fully love ourselves, we can all benefit from self-love affirmations. Even the happiest of folks may experience a negative thought every now and then so if you're battling with negative thoughts you're not alone.


We need self-affirmations because they can help boost your self-esteem and confidence. Positive self-affirmations can help make you feel less dependent on the approval of others while helping you become more comfortable with others disapproval.


When it comes to working on self love, do it consistently. Make it routine.


Here is a list of self-love affirmations. Repeating these and saying them out loud may affect you more than you think. Try to pick one each day and repeat it a few times.


I began compiling the list from positive affirmations I've randomly stumbled across, ones I've had saved for some time, and ones that I thought of on my own. There may be some repetitiveness within this list but I think that's okay. Repetition is good. I'm not sure how many items are on this list but I did put an asterisk next to some of my favorite ones. Tip: Try to find a self-affirmation wallpaper for your phone. It could be more helpful to consistently see the positive messages you want to affirm and since we're never too far from our phones, you can keep your positive affirmations close and easily within reach. Read your affirmations daily, and repeat them until they begin to resonate.
